One of Vijay's most beloved characters in recent times is Rayappan, played in the movie Bigil. The Twitter account of Amazon Prime Video recently shared a picture of Rayappan and expressed the idea of a potential full film centered solely around his character.

The movie Bigil is a commercial entertainer set against the backdrop of women's football, featuring Vijay in two different roles. One of his characters is Rayappan, a gangster, while the other is a football player named Michael aka Bigil. As Rayappan, Vijay sports a salt and pepper look and impressively portrays a character with stuttering issues, earning praise from many.

Atlee is currently occupied with his first project in Bollywood, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film's cast is rumored to include Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani as well.
