Google Pixel 7 Pro to be available for pre-booking starting October 6; alleged teaser appears on Flipkart

Google Pixel 7 Pro model will be available in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow colour variants.

On October 7, Google will hold a launch event to introduce the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and its first-ever wristwatch, the Pixel Watch. The tech behemoth has declared that the eagerly anticipated Pixel 7 Pro will go on sale for pre-order on October 6 ahead of launch.

The newest video posted by Made By Google shows the impending Pixel 7 Pro for the first time. The subtitle finally states, "Pre-orders starting October 6, 2022." Although it's not explicitly said in the movie, it's anticipated that the Pixel 7 will go on sale the same day as the Pro model.

Expected specs for the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro devices

According to Google, both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will ship with Android 13 out of the box and be powered by second-generation Tensor chipsets. The next in-house chipset, according to Google, would provide customised capabilities for security, movies, images, and speech recognition.

The Google Pixel 7 will be offered in the colours Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow, while the Google Pixel 7 Pro will be offered in the colours Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow.

There are rumours that the Google Pixel 7 Pro will have a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch curved display. It will be a Quad-HD+(1440p) resolution LTPO OLED display. It is anticipated that Corning Gorilla Glass will be used to protect this panel, which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate.

Will the Google Pixel 7 Pro be released in India?

Google just introduced the Pixel 6A in India, with prices beginning at Rs 43,999. Given that Google hasn't introduced its high-end phones in India in quite some time, it is extremely improbable that it will introduce the Pixel 7 Pro there. Like the Pixel 6A, it typically introduces its midrange A-series phones in India.
