Intel launched its 13th-generation desktop processors in India today. This comes just days after AMD announced the Ryzen 7000 series. The 13th-generation CPU family from Intel includes six brand-new unlocked processors ranging from the i5-13600KF to the i9-13900k. While the company has not disclosed the Indian pricing of the Intel 13th-generation processors, Team Blue has stated that these processors will be available in India beginning October 21st.

The 13th-generation desktop processors from Intel are part of the Raptor Lake family and are manufactured on a 10nm process with an x86 hybrid architecture. According to the company, the new processors outperform previous-generation processors by up to 15% in single-threaded performance and up to 41% in multi-threaded performance.

Aside from the i9-13900k and Core i5-13600KF, the other CPUs in the lineup are the Intel Core i9-13900KF, Core i7-13700K, Core i7-13700KF, and Core i5-13600K. It's worth noting that the 'K' and 'F' variants only differ in that the F variants don't have Intel's UHD Graphics onboard.

Intel also claims that its new Core i9-13900K flagship processor, with 24 cores and 32 threads and a clock speed of up to 5.8 GHz, is the world's fastest desktop processor. According to Intel, it can deliver 15% better single-thread performance than the previous generation processor.
