Spotify crashes for many users just after Taylor Swift’s latest album dropped

According to reports, the popular Swedish music streaming platform Spotify briefly went down shortly after Taylor Swift's latest album 'Midnights' was released. Spotify, which had been posting a countdown to the album's release, was found to be acting erratically for many users worldwide.

Users of Spotify complained that their accounts were being automatically logged out on both the Android and iOS versions of the app. The music streaming service was also said to be behaving abnormally for users who reported that the app displayed a "No Internet Connection" message despite being connected to a working internet connection.

The artist or the application have not yet acknowledged the outage, which appeared to be for a short period of time. Surprisingly, none of the other music streaming services, such as Apple Music, appear to have experienced the issue.

Taylor Swift's tenth studio album, 'Midnights,' is her tenth studio album. The 14-song album is being billed as the artist's return to the Pop genre. Taylor Swift's most recent album, Evermore, was released in 2020.
