Ileana D’Cruz is born on 1st November 1986 in born in India but has Portuguese origin now she majorly works in Tollywood, Bollywood, and Kollywood. She was born in Mumbai but brought up major portion of her childhood in Goa. D’Cruz is a three-time Filmfare Award and Filmfare Awards South awardee.

The young actress début on the screen in 2006, she acted in the Telugu-language romantic-drama film Devadasu which became commercially successful and for which she was awarded the Filmfare Award for the Best Female Debut – South. Post successful sequences of movies such as Pokiri (2006), Rakhi (2006), Munna (2007), Jalsa (2008,) Kick (2009), and Julayi (2012), D’Cruz emerged as one of the leading actresses of Tollywood. D’Cruz got Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu nomination in Pokiri, Jalsa, Kick. She next acted in Tamil cinema through Kedi in 2006 and also worked with noted director Shankar in Nanban in 2012 which was a box-office grosser.

D’Cruz ventured into Hindi cinema in 2012 through IELTS and trilled director, Anurag Basu’s comedy drama film, Barfi. , for which she got Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. [4] She has later on featured as the leading lady in the hit movies like Main Tera Hero (2014), Rustom (2016) and Raid (2018).

Other than being an actress D’Cruz is also involved in advertisement for several brands and products as a celebrity endorser. D’ Cruz is a married woman to Michael Dolan, they are blessed with a child, a son.
