1. Hampi

Hampi was the capital of the Vijayanagar kingdom. You can see a monolithic 29-foot-tall Narasimha here. Once upon a time this place Hampi was much bigger than Rome but the Mughals destroyed it in 1565.

2. Badami Fort, Badami

Badami Fort is located at a distance of 2 km from Badami. This fort was built by the Chalukya King Pulakeshi and after destroyed by the Pallavas, Tipu Sultan rebuilt it.

3. Lad Khan Temple, Aihole

Lad Khan Temple is a Lord Shiva temple where you can see a cave-like architecture and also one of the heritage places of North Karnataka.

This fort was built by Sultan Ali-Ud Din Bahman in 1427 in the city of Bidar. You can see more than 30 monuments. After changing his capital from Gulbarga to Bidar, the sultan made this fort in Bidar.

7. Jama Masjid, Gulbarga

This masjid was built by the great Muhammad Shah in 1358-75. The architecture of this mosque is very famous and beautiful this is one of the best architectural mosques in south Asia. You can see such a mosque in Hyderabad also.
