Well, first I need to clear you all that Kasol and Kasauli are not in the same places. Yes, these places are situated in Himachal Pradesh. Both of these places are beautiful. you should visit them if you are planning a Himachal Pradesh trip. Best place for trekking, backpackers, and also for relaxing. You don't need to worry about the locations as I am sharing the locations with you.  Kasauli is 55 Km from Chandigarh and Kasol is 42 Km from Kulu and you will be a little scared by knowing that Kasol is at a height of 1640 meters. Here is another thing, Kasol is known as a home for Israelis. Lord Hanuman placed his foot at Kasauli while scearching herbs for Lakshmana. 

Kasol is located along the banks of the Parvati River and Kasauli is located near Chandigarh. Kasol is also known as Mini israel as you can see many Insraeli tourists here. You can go here by bus, taxi, train or flight. All the ways are available. The easiest way to go here is by bus from Delhi to Kasol. Though there are others options too but  if you ask me I would suggest you to go by bus as you can enjoy nature and also can enjoy the fresh air.
