Directions to use- make a paste of honey and cinnamon, by taking them in two tablespoons and one teaspoon, respectively. Clean your face with a face wash and apply this mask. Keep it for 10-15 minutes. Gently rinse the mask off and pat your face with a clean towel.

2.       Green tea-

Yes, green tea is not just responsible for reducing weight, but also plays many other medicinal benefits. One such benefit is reducing acne. Green tea contains polyphenols and is rich in antioxidants, which are responsible for fighting pimple-causing bacteria.

Directions to use- Boil the green tea for 3-4 minutes and allow it to cool down. With the help of a cotton ball, apply the tea on your face. You can also use a spray bottle for the same. After it dries on your skin, rinse it off gently and pat your skin dry.

3.       Aloe Vera-

this plant is used for a number of purposes, and especially for many skin conditions. You may also find aloe vera as an ingredient in many body lotions, creams, soaps, etc. For the treatment of acne, salicylic acid is required which is present in aloe vera. Salicylic acid along with sulfur reduces acne and hydrates your skin.

Directions to use- scrape out the gel from the leaf of an aloe vera plant and place it in a container. Directly apply this gel to your skin and on acne-zones, just like a moisturizer. You can repeat this process 1-2 times a day for better results.

4.       Exfoliate-

exfoliation of skin is required in order to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. Dead skin cells usually clog pores, which further results in pimples. Thus, exfoliating skin and removing this layer of dead skin cells would automatically result in the treatment of acne. Exfoliation also allows other treatments to penetrate deeper into the skin, thus allowing better and faster cure of skin abnormalities.

Directions to use- take sugar/salt and coconut oil in equal amounts. Rub your skin gently with this mixture and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Rinse your face with water and pat dry.
