During this time, we must take extra care of our skin to preserve the results of after wax. Some of the after effects results in rashes, redness and even ingrowth.

Important Steps to take care of our skin after waxing are:

  1. Use a Cold Compress

There is an irritation in skin that comes after waxing. We must use a cold compress to control the same. We can also use a small towel and wet it with water and use the same. We can apply the deep freeze plastic bag to the areas of our skin where we are facing inflammation or redness.

  1. Use Fragrance Free Skincare

Fragrances should not be used in skin care products. Products with fragrances can irritate our skin and if we use it for long-term it may cause allergies. So we should stay away from it and specially after waxing because our skin is very sensitive at that time.

  1. Skip The Gym

Gym wear tends to cling to our skin and working out can cause friction with our outfit and skin. This results in irritation of the skin. After waxing, wear comfortable and loose clothes so that our skin can breathe.

Waxing strip the outer protective layer of the skin that’s why our skin will be more prone to sun damage. So please use sunscreen to protect yourself from the UV rays of the sun.
