Aditya Roy Kapur, an Indian actor, was born on November 16, 1985, in Mumbai. He comes from a mixed heritage with a Punjabi Hindu father and a Jewish mother. Aditya is the youngest of three brothers, with his eldest brother, Siddharth Roy Kapur, being a prominent film producer and married to actress Vidya Balan, and his second brother, Kunaal Roy Kapur, also an actor.

 

Early Life and Education 


Aditya grew up in a family with strong ties to the entertainment industry; his paternal grandfather was a film producer in the early 1940s, and his maternal grandparents were accomplished dance teachers. Aditya attended G.D. Somani Memorial School in Mumbai and later went to St. Xavier's College but had to shift to St. Andrew's College due to academic challenges. He initially aspired to be a cricketer but eventually shifted his focus to the arts.
