Biography Of Khanzaadi In 2024

Firoza Khan, better known by her stage name Khanzaadi, was born on 19th June 1996 in Assam, India. Since childhood, she has developed an interest in music and was influenced by Eminem, Arijit Singh, and Shreya Ghoshal. She finished her primary education at Don Bosco High School in Mangaldai and went for higher education in Assam. 

Entry into the Music Industry

It was not a smooth sail for Khanzaadi when she embarked herself into the music industry, to begin with, being a woman in a generation that was strictly controlled by men. However, that did not deter her, and her passion for rapping paved the way to carving a small place in the Indian rap industry. Initially, she had been uploading her efforts on YouTube and started to gain a consistent base of clientele.

Khanzaadi became popular nationally in 2022 when she appeared in MTV Hustle 2.0, a rap battle reality show in India. Some of the songs she sang for her mother, rocking the music scene, include” Azaadi and Lady Don.” Working under EPR in the team EPR Rebels, she grew into a worthy competitor and thus established herself even stronger in the industry. 

Bigg Boss 17 Participation

Khanzaadi first gained fame when she had the opportunity to be part of Bigg Boss 17 in October 2023. The appearance of the reality show made way for the fans to see her personality as different from the performance/parlor type of music. During her time on the show, she was open and honest, something that most people appreciated. 

Recent Works and Musical Activities

After Bigg Boss 17, Khanzaadi did not appear in media scenes for quite a significant amount of time, but she soon re-entered the media world most strongly with the release of the musical video “Way Above” in December 2024. The track shows her musical evolution and her desire to challenge the stagnant idea of Indian hip-hop. During the interview, she said that the break had given her the chance she needed to reflect and come back recharged and ready for more and with better ideas.
