Career
Dhanush made his acting debut in the Tamil film "Thulluvadho Ilamai" (2002), which his father directed. His brother Selvaraghavan directed the film "Kadhal Kondein" (2003), which helped him attain global reputation. Some of his significant films are "Polladhavan," "Aadukalam," "Raanjhanaa" (his Bollywood debut), "Velaiyilla Pattathari," and "Asuran."
Dhanush has earned several accolades, including three National Film Awards and seven Filmfare Awards South. He has also received international attention for his portrayal in the film "The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir."
