Nick's career in the motivational field began when, at just 17, he delivered his first solo speech to his prayer group. Since that day, he has dedicated his life to inspiring others.

He founded Attitude Is Altitude, a Social Emotional Learning curriculum used to create changes in positive behaviors among students and their communities.

Nick established Life Without Limbs, a non-profit ministry, out of Agoura Hills, California, that sermons messages of hope and perseverance. His documentary, Life's Greater Purpose, conveys how he utilized his gifts to the fullest, irrespective of physical disability.

In 1990, Nick received the Australian Young Citizen Award for his remarkable courage and determination.
