Sadha was born on February 17, 1984, in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India, into a Marathi Muslim family. Her father is a doctor, while her mother works as a bank executive. Her education was completed at Sacred Heart Convent High School, located in Ratnagiri. Thereafter, she came down to Mumbai to pursue an Information Technology degree at SNDT College of Engineering. She is also a trained Kathak dancer.

Acting Career

Sadha's acting career began with a notable debut in the Telugu film Jayam (2002), where she played the role of Sujatha. The film was a commercial success and earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu.

Following her debut, she appeared in several films across different languages:

Tamil Cinema: She starred in Anniyan (2005) opposite Vikram, directed by S. Shankar. Her performance as Nandini Krishna earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Tamil.

Kannada Cinema: She made her Kannada debut with Monalisa (2004), which was a blockbuster and won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Film.

Hindi Cinema: Sadha appeared in Bollywood films like Love Khichdi (2009) and Click (2010).

In addition to films, Sadha has been a judge on Telugu television dance shows such as Dhee Juniors and Dhee Jodi.

Transition to Wildlife Photography and Activism

Beyond her acting career, Sadha has pursued her passion for wildlife photography. She has become a professional wildlife photographer, capturing images of animals in their natural habitats. Her work includes photographs of leopards, peacocks, and tigers, taken in places like the Jhalana Reserve Forest.

Sadha is also an ethical vegan and an animal rights activist. She supports organizations like the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO) and uses her platform to raise awareness about animal welfare and conservation.

Personal Life

Sadha maintains a private personal life. She has expressed that for her, a marriage should be based on mutual understanding and shared values, including a commitment to vegetarianism.
