Sandeep, or Zandeeep, is an emerging actor, model and television personality based in Kerala, India. He was born on 2nd June 1997 in Vaikom, Kottayam, and is well-known in the Malayalam film background. He got recognition for his performance in Falimy, a Malayalam film released in 2023, which made a significant impression, and he bagged a SIIMA nomination for Best Comedian based on the positive feedback from the media. 

He is in the process of getting into the mainstream film industry.

Life experience

Sandeep was raised in Vaikom and finished his schooling at Lisieux Senior Secondary School. Being healthy and interested in visual media, he got admission to Delhi University for his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media and a Diploma in Advanced Visual Effects at Bangalore University. Before entering the film industry, Sandeep worked as a VFX artist in a multi-national company and made some short films.

Career

Sandeep started his acting career in 2016 with the short film Shanti Muhurtham, which connected with audiences. He made his feature film debut in 2019 in Pathinettam Padi, as part of an ensemble lead with many Malayalam cinema legends, such as Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Arya, and Unni Mukundan. In 2022, he acted in Antakshari and became a popular face in the film industry with his appearance in Falimy in 2023.

In 2025, Sandeep demonstrated his ability to be flexible by portraying a boxer in the sports drama Alappuzha Gymkhana and a comedic character as Jithin in Padakkalam, alongside Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharaf U Dheen.

Personal Life

Sandeep was born into a Hindu Malayali family. He does not share any information regarding his parents or siblings; he is currently not married, and he loves dancing & travelling, and likes cricket, with Sachin Tendulkar as his favourite player.
