As per a source, the actor got the director of the movie sacked. The director wanted the handsome actor to work on himself & come across as a rustic character from a Northern state, where the movie is set. The actor, as expected, couldn't nail the role & this led to a lot of heated arguments between them. It ended with the director of the movie getting sacked. The director has quit the production house as well. The production house is renowned for making critically acclaimed & hugely popular web series. An editor has approached to co-direct the movie along with the head honcho of the production house.

The co-founders of the production company hate the head honcho - he was named in the MeToo scandal, which rocked Bollywood a few years back. Our source confirmed that the rumors are indeed true. The sacked filmmaker was not involved in the latest season of the superhit web series, which is set in a rustic setting. He did not want the latest season to revolve around elections. The production house wants to milk its hit web series by creating as many sequels as possible. Not all of the sequels have been lauded by the audiences.
