But both times he sheepishly went back on his word, after the young heartthrob delivered successful films. The filmmaker is also a production house owner who needs bankable movie stars to keep his business afloat. The young heartthrob is one of the most bankable stars of the industry right now. The filmmaker was shrewd enough to mend his fences with the star & offer him a project, which he gladly accepted. He wanted a star kid actress to be the heroine. She had signed another talented filmmaker's movie. But the other filmmaker is not as powerful as the production house owner filmmaker. The actress made the obvious choice of easing herself out of the talented filmmaker's movie & took up the role opposite the young heartthrob.

The talented filmmaker's last movie - a biopic which released directly on a global online streaming platform, garnered rave reviews. Its music too was very well received. After delivering several box office duds, he was back to be being on the wishlist of many actors.
