Two brothers who are a force to reckon with in Hollywood came up with an idea for a global action thriller web series franchise - the first installment was to be made in English, but the subsequent ones were to be made in other major languages across the globe. The first installment starred a global star of Bollywood descent. The Indian leg of the franchise starred a young male Bollywood star & a female South Indian superstar. Coincidentally the Indian installment was created by two brothers as well. The heroine of the Indian web series is now dating one of the brothers. As per a source, the whole franchise has been scrapped by the global streaming platform due to an underwhelming response & the sky-high budget. The 2nd season of the Hollywood version is ready for release, but the studio is not releasing it! The indian one has been shelved entirely.

This must be bad news for the Indian male star who hasn't had a hit in years. None of his movies are working at the box office. Sadly even his web series debut couldn't do much for his career. He must be pinning his hopes on the horror movie franchise. While his movie in the franchise wasn't a huge success, the franchise is a huge success. He is guaranteed at least 2-3 movies from the franchise in the coming years.
