Bollywood Blind Item: Production House Gets Back At Superstar After 9 Years

Blind Items

This star kid superstar actress is the blue eyed girl of one of the most powerful men in Bollywood. Her mentor not only gives her plum projects bankrolled by his production house, but also allegedly snatches projects from outsiders & gives them to his protege. The superstar has relied largely on her mentor to survive & rather thrive in Bollywood. But with her mentor selling his stake in his production house & other actresses gaining ground she can't rely on her mentor alone. Sadly, when she went to another production house hoping to bag a project from them, they did not heed her request. They got back at her for walking out of a prestigious project which she had signed on & was being produced by them 9 years back. She quit the project for the sake of a project which was produced by her mentor - that movie never got made. Bollywood biggies have giant egos. They don't forget an insult. The superstar has learnt it the hard way.

Actors walking out of projects is not uncommon in Bollywood. Lack of dates is the most common excuse. The decision to quit the project did turn out to be right - the movie flopped upon release. But the industry works on relationships & not box office records alone. By walking out of the project the superstar burnt her bridges with the production house. Two of her rivals have starred in blockbusters produced by the production house. She too was keen on starring in a project produced by the production house. But the production house decided to cast another actress instead & settle scores with the superstar. The superstar need not worry too much as she still has two top filmmakers rooting for her. Her being married to an A-list celebrity only adds to her clout.

Can you guess the celebs we are talking about?
