Bollywood Blind Item: Studio Uses War As An Excuse

While the nation is in a state of war with a neighbouring country, some Bollywood folk are using it as an excuse to hide their failures. A top Bollywood producer-studio owner who has been having a terrific run at the box office lately is one of them. His latest release  - a romantic comedy starring India's current crush & a talented actor had a terrible opening at the box office upon release. The studio boss used the current war-like situation as an excuse to take his movie off the theatres & reschedule its OTT release to a much earlier date. They feel the public will be oblivious to the fact that a Bollywood movie has been doing brisk business at the box office despite releasing on the same date!

While the country is not in a full-fledged war, it remains to be seen whether it will affect the release dates of upcoming movies. Many enthusiastic filmmakers have proactively sought to buy the movie rights for Operation Sindoor, the eponymous name by which the attacks on terrorists were launched a few days back. Most of war based movies made by Bollywood have been money spinners at the box office. Looks like the nation's armed forces have unknowingly given Bollywood the script for another taut action thriller. We pray for the safety of our armed forces & give them the strength to effectively deal with terrorists.
