Bollywood Blind Item: Sudden Exit Of Actress From South Movie

This Bollywood actress recently starred in a female-centric, multi-starrer hit heist flick. She is notorious for her arrogance.  Her claims of being the best Bollywood actress in her generation only added fuel to the fire. There have been social media posts speaking about her WhatsApp group which is the ultimate source of Bollywood gossip. It is rumored that she & her girlfriends spare no effort in being condescending & nasty towards other celebs while chatting in the group. They poke fun at all other celebs, especially the female celebs of the industry. She is the queen bee of her gang. She admitted on a talk show that she is keen on working with a young South Indian superstar who is now a well-known face even among Bollywood fans. She even was approached to star in his next flick. The makers of the movie & the heroine agreed upon a price. But she shocked them by abruptly hiking her fees exponentially. This has led to her ouster from the project. 

Friends who have worked with the actress claim that she is a thorough professional & not half as arrogant as she is made out to be. Her self-confidence is often mistaken as arrogance. But her self-confidence might be making her delusional. She seems to forget that it is a male-driven industry. Female-centric movies are the exception & not the rule. She is 40+. Which means that acting projects won't be too many. It won't be too long before she is forced to take up supporting roles in movies while younger stars bag the role of the eye candy heroine in male-centric movies. Starring in a South Indian movie would have been a smart choice. But her opting to stick to Bollywood may backfire.
