As per a source, when his chips were down & he was struggling in his career two producers showed faith in him. They signed for two movies & even paid him an advance amount. But after the reocrd breaking success of his movie, he was flooded with offers. He then refused to star in the two movies & is not even returning the advance amount. 

The superstar in question is very emotional & has always been bad with managing his money. He had huge debts before the blockbuster success of his movie. He was forced to enter politics to tide over his financial crisis. It is shocking how he was riddled with debt despite being part of the industry for four decades. His father too is a superstar.
