Bollywood Blind Item: Superstar Is Unhappy Over Oscar Nominations 

An oscar win has largely eluded Bollywood. Bollywood has won awards for its music. Movies set in India too have won prestigious awards including Oscars, but Oscar awards for best international film, acting, best movie, etc have always seemed out of reach. One superstar who never bothered to attend Indian awards has been working towards winning the prestigious Oscar awards. He did get close to winning it a few decades back, but all subsequent attempts have proved futile. He was again hopeful of winning the award this time after a movie produced by him became the the country's official entry for the Oscars. But while the superstar's production was rejected by the Oscars Academy, another Indian movie will compete in the main categories at the Oscars. It has also earned praise from a former President of the USA along with being nominated in the 'Best Motion Picture' category at another prestigious film award. While this is great news for Indian movie lovers, the superstar is not happy with this development. As per a source, the superstar is in fact pissed with the other movie earning all the acclaim that he had hoped for. 

Many Indians were in fact livid when the other movie was not selected by the jury as India's official entry to the Oscars. They were annoyed further when the superstar's production was not shortlisted by the Oscar's jury in the 'Best International Film' category. If the other film does end up winning the prestigious award then it will a tight slap on the face of the jury which selected the superstar's production instead of this movie which has been receiving plaudits from movie goers across the world.
