Bollywood Blind Item: Superstar's Movie Gets Shelved

This A-list superstar - one of the biggest of his generation- is a relieved man after his latest release was declared a box office success. He has several movies lined up. One among them was to be directed by a top South Indian filmmaker who has given several blockbusters. We had earlier written about a Bollywood superstar trying to convince this A-list superstar not to collaborate with the South Indian filmmaker, as he thought he got a raw deal from the filmmaker. But the A-list superstar did not pay any heed to his friend's advice. As per a source, the superstar has changed his mind. His project with the South Indian filmmaker has been put on hold. Creative differences & the lacklustre performance of his last movie are the reasons behind this sudden decision.

The A-lister is notorious for being difficult to work with. His perfectionist attitude, controlling nature, and micro-management are some of the biggest reasons why he is not a filmmaker's favorite. A top filmmaker made him sign a contract stating that he wouldn't be allowed to interfere in the filmmaking process beyond a point & that the filmmaker's decision would be final. This hurt the superstar's feelings, but he signed the movies anyway, as the filmmaker was on a roll back then - it was a decision which paid huge dividends at the box office. He has been in the news lately thanks to his brother washing dirty family linen in public.
