Bollywood Blind Item: The High Take Director

As per a source, a top female superstar was annoyed with the director of her upcoming movie. The director of the movie is notorious for asking a huge number of takes for every shot. The number of takes sometimes exceeds 30-40 per shot! The female superstar is rumored to have had a tiff with the director over this issue. A veteran actor who was also the father of a young superstar & who passed away a couple of years back too had an altercation with the filmmaker over the same issue. That explains why the director has earned the moniker of "high take director". The female superstar is quite pally with the male star of the movie. She now takes calls on the casting of her movie much like her male counterparts unless the male star of the movie is a top superstar. The other heroine of the movie has been sidelined during the promotion as she doesn't have much of a role in the movie.

If our sources are to be believed, the movie is based on a Hollywood hit thriller. The movie doesn't glorify cheating as some of the trolls would want you to believe. It will be releasing on an OTT platform soon. It was a good decision to opt for a theatrical release as the movie caters to the multiplex audience & if the response to the last few releases is any indication, the multiplex audience is yet to return to the theatres in a big way.
