Bollywood Blind Item: This Actor Rejected A Filmmaker's Project

News, gossip about this musical blockbuster featuring two debutantes in the main lead doesn't seem to stop. According to a source, this star kid actor, who is the son of a filmmaker & hasn't had a clean hit in ages, was offered a two-hero project by the filmmaker of the musical blockbuster. The other hero of the project was an A-lister who is a few years away from becoming a senior citizen. When the senior superstar backed out of the project citing date issues, the star kid actor also backed out. This irked the filmmaker, but he still went ahead & offered the script of the musical blockbuster to the star kid actor. But as luck would have it, the star kid actor declined the movie. The filmmaker's project, which had been released at that time, had underperformed, and the star kid actor felt that the filmmaker had lost his mojo. The star kid actor clearly won't be thrilled with the blockbuster success of the movie that was one offered to him.

The actor in question is not the only one who has rejected a project that went on to become a huge success. Stars get offered several projects every year, but owing to time constraints, they are able to take up just 1-2 projects every year. Actors who are seen in 4-5 movies end up diluting their brand & their movies fail to get a good initial at the box office over the opening weekend. The star kid actor has some interesting movies lined up. We hope he is able to reinvent himself & succeed at the box office again.
