This young filmmaker, who comes from an illustrious film family, has had a 100% strike rate at the box office. Bollywood's biggest superstar is his BFF & frequent collaborator. Together, they made a lot of money for the studio. But the last movie - the big budget epic which went over budget & underwent several delays, reshoots soured the filmmaker's equation with the studio bosses. His upcoming movie will star a Greek God superstar & will be bankrolled by another big studio. His subsequent project - the next installment of a blockbuster heist franchise will star his superstar BFF & will be bankrolled by the same studio. As per a source, the filmmaker has terminated his contract with the previous studio. Things are still sour between the young filmmaker & his mentor, a top filmmaker himself & the owner of the studio. The young filmmaker & his superstar BFF's sequel to their epic movie was supposed to release in 2027. But it doesn't seem possible for now. 2027 has been locked for the sequel to another blockbuster - the movie which cemented his position as Bollywood's numero uno.
Filmmakers are creative folks & they don't understand money. Studio bosses, on the other hand, are businessmen for whom filmmaking is a typical business that needs to generate huge profits. This often leads to huge clashes between filmmakers & studio bosses. Even studio bosses who are filmmakers themselves tend to get into feuds with filmmakers over the budgets, creative vision, etc. But box office success is known to bring a thaw in frayed relationships. The young filmmaker & his mentor may get back together if his upcoming movies turn out to be big hits at the box office.
