Safa Baig is the wife of famous Indian Cricketer Irfan Pathan. She was born on 28 February 1994 in Azizyah, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is a model, executive editor in PR firm, journalist and self-taught nail artist. Safa is the daughter of Mirza Farooq Baig, a Saudi businessman. She has 4 sisters. She completed her schooling from International Indian School in Jeddah.
Safa and Irfan met in Dubai in 2014 but kept their relationship under the wraps for almost two years. The couple got married in a close-knit affair as it was only attended by family members and close relatives. Their wedding ceremony took place at Haram Shareef in Mecca. The duo also has a son named Imran Khan Pathan.

Reacting to the severe criticism and hate over tweeting blurred photo of his wife, Irfan Pathan once again tweeted the same blurred photo from his official handle.
He wrote,”This picture is posted by my queen from my sons account. We are getting lot of hate. Let me post this here as well. She blurred this pic by her choice. And Yes, I’m her mate not her master”. This showed that she has strong opinions and won’t hear unnecessary judgments from people about both her family and herself.
