Bhuvneshwar Kumar- 2016 and 2017
In the 2016 season of the IPL, Kumar took a total wicket of 23 playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He registered an economy of 7.42 and finished with an average of 21.30 after playing a total of 17 matches in the season.
Kumar replicated the brilliance in the following edition right next year. In IPL 2017, he made 26 dismissals and bowled at an economy of 7.05 and an average of 14.19. He played a total of 14 matches that season.
Harshal Patel- 2021 and 2024
Harshal Patel is another player who won the Purple Cap more than once. After playing a total of 15 matches, Patel took 32 scalps for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He maintained an economy of 8.14 and an average of 14.34 at season.
Patel won another Purple Cap three editions later. He took a total of 24 wickets, but this time for Punjab Kings. He featured in a total of 14 matches at an economy of 9.73 and an average of. 19.87.
