Aamir Khan To Play A Drunk & Arrogant Coach In His Next Movie

AAMIR KHAN is set to play a DRUNKARD and ARROGENT COACH in the Hindi Remake of 2018 Spanish blockbuster film CAMPIONES which will be co-produced by SONY PICTURES and AAMIR KHAN and would be directed by RL PRASANNA (Shubh Mangal Saavdhan).
The film narrates the underdog story of a team consisting of intellectually disabled people, being trained by the coach who wins multiple tournaments across the globe. The film was also nominated for the Best Foreign Film category at the 91st ACADEMY AWARDS as well and now, the film will be remade for Hindi audiences with AAMIR in the lead. The film is currenting in the final stages of locking the script and would go on floors soon as AAMIR will take a call on his lineup post the release of LAAL SINGH CHADHA in AUGUST.
Other than this, there's MOGUL as well which is a BIOPIC on GULSHAN KUMAR in his lineup as well as talks are also going on for playing a leading role in another BIOPIC of which not much details are known. AAMIR has also shown keen interest in THREE projects being offered to him, one of which is a script pitched by ASHWINY IYER TIWARI, but his presence in these projects is still NOT Confirmed. Apart from this, there hasnt been much development on the proposed RAJKUMAR HIRANI's directorial with him and RANBIR KAPOOR as HIRANI is currently busy with his film with SHAH RUKH KHAN in the lead. However, post LAAL SINGH CHADHA, there are high chances of RL PRASANNA's directorial to be AAMIR's next film.
