Aamir Khan's Next Movie Put On Hold

AAMIR KHAN has asked RL PRASANNA to put a HOLD on the pre production work of his supposedly next film, which will be the Hindi adaptation of Spanish Film 'CAMPIONES', which is likely to star ANUSHKA SHARMA opposite him for the second time after PK

AAMIR will take a call on whether he would go ahead with the film after looking at the response of global audience towards his next release 'LAAL SINGH CHADHA', which is due to release on 11th AUGUST, 2022. LAAL SINGH CHADHA, being the Hindi remake of FORREST GUMP, sees him playing a DIM WITTED MAN and the film talks about the journey of a nation through his eyes, while in the Hindi remake of CAMPIONES - He will play the role of a FORMER ATHLETE who is battling with ALCOHOL ADDICTION while taking up the task to COACH a BASKETBALL TEAM with DISABLED PLAYERS and AAMIR wants to see audience reaction to LAAL SINGH CHADHA before turning towards doing another film with DISABILITY as a part of plotline with 'Confidence'

Co-produced by SONY PICTURES INDIA, this film was supposed to go on floors in OCTOBER, but even if AAMIR finally agrees, the film will now go on floors not before JANUARY 2023 as RL PRASANNA was working on the MUSIC of the film with SHANKAR EHSAAN LOY and will now resume working from OCTOBER. But, if ADVAIT CHANDAN directorial FLOPS at the box office, AAMIR will BACK out of the film completely, thereby the KISMET of Prasanna's film depend on the Box Office Performance of LSC

If AAMIR backs out, he will resume talks with ANURAG BASU and SIDDHARTH P MALHOTRA (Hichki) for possible collaboration, with SIDDHARTH currently working on the debut film of AAMIR's son JUNAID KHAN titled 'MAHARAJA', a Courtroom Drama produced by YASH RAJ FILMS, co-starring SHARVARI and JAIDEEP AHLAWAT in leading roles as well.
