Vicky Kaushal is an Indian Bollywood Actor. He is a recipient of National award and Filmfare award for his outstanding acting skills. The heartthrob of Indian female following and has created a sensation worldwide. His personality, humble nature and acting skills are loved by all. He broke the hearts of many girls when he announced his marriage with Katrina Kaif last December.

Vicky was born on 16th May, 1988 in suburban chawl in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His father Sham Kaushal is a stuntman & subsequent filmfare award winning action director in Hindi films and mother Veena is a housewife. Sunny Kaushal, his younger brother is also an actor. He completed his Engineering in 2012 from Mumbai and was interested in studying, playing cricket and watching movies. After completing his studies, he joined Kishore Namit Kapoor’s academy because of his love for movies.

He started doing everything from backstage and announcements to stand ins and went for various kinds of auditions but didn’t grab any opportunity. He started his filmy career by working as an assistant director to Anurag Kashyap in Gangs of Wasseypur, Bombay Velvet.

In 2018, he topped The Times of India’s listing of country’s most desirable men. He also featured in Forbes under 30 list. He got his first leading role in the film Massan in 2015. His exceptional acting in the movie, URI: THE SURGICAL STRIKE was appreciated by everyone and he was awarded with the National award for Best Actor.
