OTT Platforms Paying Huge Sums to Filmmakers

Have you watched Darlings yet? Well, it was the productional debut film of Alia Bhatt. The film is amazing and absolutely a must watch. All the actors in the films were amazing and performed really well. And after the success of this film we are here today to know upcoming films on OTT platforms. 

Babli Bouncer

This film starsTamannaah Bhatia in the lead role and also has Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj, and Sahil Vaid for key characters. She will be seen as a female bouncer and it will release on 23rd Sept 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar. 

Tiku Weds Sheru

This film will star Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. It is a Kangana Ranaut production work after her production house was launched in 2020. The film will be available on Amazon Prime. Doesn't the casting seem interesting?

Khufiya

It is a thriller based on the novel Escape to Nowhere. The film will premier on Netflix and stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Alexx O’Nell. 

Govinda Naam Mera

This will be a super Bollywood film as it stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. Ealier it was going to hit the theatres but now the makers have shifted to OTT. But a official confirmation is still pending by the makers. 

Freddy

It is a Kartik Aryan and Alaya F starring film. Kartik already has a OTT film Dhamak in 2021. Have you watched the film. Well, it was a nice film but we have seem Kartik in better stories. He was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiya 2 which was super hit. Will Freddy be able to keep up with what BB2 bought for Kartik. 

Bloody Daddy

It stars Shahid Kapoor and this has made me excited already. It is a remake of Tomer Sisley’s Nuit Blanche (Sleepless Nights), a 2011 French film. It is a thriller where Shahid plays a caring father who fights mafia to safe his child. 

Mission Majnu

It is a spy thriller and stars Siddharth Malhotra and Rasmika. The film was annouced in 2020 but the release is being delayed since then.
