NITESH TIWARI's next with VARUN DHAWAN and JANHVI KAPOOR is based on the subject of 'TROPHY WIFE SYNDROME'.
In this SAJID NADIADWALA production, VARUN is playing a Small Town Boy who tries every trick in the book to marry JANHVI's character who is said to be the 'most beautiful girl in the town' and comes from a rich and affluent family, thinking that this marriage will elevate his social standing among his peers.
However, something unthinkable happens in the life of this couple and everything turns upside down for them and the film focuses on how in today’s time, a wedding has become more of a beauty-status exchange, and marrying a girl who’s more attractive than himself acts as a symbol of the person’s social position.
This ROMANTIC COMEDY will go on floors in LUCKNOW on APRIL 10th and will also be shot in KANPUR over a TWO MONTHS schedule, post which VARUN will head to shoot 'CITADEL' in MUMBAI as well as some parts of EUROPE, while JANHVI will head to work on 'MR and MRS MAHI'.
