With Vikram's enormous success, the venerable actor made a wonderful comeback to the film industry. One of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time, the blockbuster action thriller was the National Award-winning actor's debut collaboration with the gifted director Lokesh Kanagaraj. With several exciting projects in the works, Kamal Haasan is now prepared to be active in the film industry. The legendary player is hoping to join forces with some of the most exciting young athletes.

Indian 2           

In Indian 2 kamal Hassan is reuniting with S Shankar is the much-awaited sequel to their hit film Indian, which was released in 1996. The movie, now named Indian 2, was first planned to be released in theatres in 2020. But because of the unfortunate crane accident that occurred on the sets and the subsequent epidemic, it was repeatedly postponed. However, Udhayanidhi Stalin has joined the production as a co-producer, and Indian 2 is again back on course. In the movie, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in pivotal parts, Kamal Haasan will reprise his iconic role as Senapathi. Music is being created for the movie by Anirudh.

Vikram 2                                  

For those who are unaware, Vikram is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, or LCU, and exists in the same world as the director's last big-budget film Kaithi, which starred Karthi. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has recently announced that the series will include many more episodes, including Vikram 2 and Kaithi 2. The eagerly awaited Vikram sequel is set to begin production after the director completes Thalapathy Vijay, which has been given the working title Thalapathy 67, and Kaithi 2.

KH 234                                         

The iconic team of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, who collaborated on one of the greatest gangster movies in Indian cinema, Nayagan, is about to reconnect. After a 35-year hiatus, the seasoned director and illustrious actor are reuniting for the new picture, provisionally titled KH 234. As a great surprise for Kamal Haasan's fans and film enthusiasts, the much-awaited production was released before the icon turned 68. According to sources, KH 234 will begin production in the middle of 2023 and be released in theatres in 2024.

Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2                                                

Both Kamal Haasan and filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon have just revealed that the sequel to their hugely successful neo-noir action thriller Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu is happening. The script for the eagerly awaited film is reportedly nearing completion, and director Gautham is prepared to present it to the illustrious actor. The brilliant policeman Raghavan will be played by Kamal Haasan again in the follow-up film, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2.
