MS Dhoni Becomes a Film Producer; Announces Tamil Debut Movie Let's Get Married With Harish Kalyan And Ivana

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former Indian cricket captain is all ready to bankroll films under his production venture Dhoni Entertainment. For a long time, the cricketer was in the news to produce films and it has come true. MS Dhoni announced his first project for his new production company on Friday. The captain will make his film debut in Tamil under his own banner.

 

The former cricketer turned producer went to social media to make the big announcement. He declared the title and cast of the movie also it is a Tamil movie directed by Ramesh Thamilman. The first film under MS Dhoni’s maiden production is titled as Let’s Get Married. Harish Kalyan, a former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant, and Ivana from Love Today are said to play the lead roles. The rest of the cast and crew have yet to be announced. The upcoming Tamil film has been described as a romantic drama.
 
Makers revealed the title with a motion poster and expressed their joy by sharing Dhoni Entertainment’s first production titled LGM - Let's Get Married. From the poster, it is looks like that the movie will be based on a road trip. The film was launched today in Chennai after a pooja ceremony, and it has already started production. The upcoming Tamil film marks MS Dhoni's production debut for his company Dhoni Production, whose managing director is his wife Sakshi Dhoni.
Reportedly, Sakshi wrote the movie's concept it was then made into a story by director Ramesh Thamilmani. The director disclosed that the moment he read the concept he knew it was very special. It was new and had all the elements of a fun family entertainer. Thamilmani had previously created a graphic novel titled Atharva - The Origin, which starred M.S. Dhoni.
