The person received harsh criticism from other online users for his comments against Deepika and Ranveer Singh. The director Onir also criticised the user, calling it “a horrible attitude. He belongs to the group of men who believe that a husband owns the ladies because of the way he uses phrases like “allows” and “tolerate.” And only someone with a nasty attitude could create such a montage. Now that I’m retired, all I want to do is enlarge pictures and propagate hate.
Director of Raees Rahul Dholakia had also offered support to Shah Rukh Khan as the movement to boycott Pathaan gained popularity. “Everyone in the film industry should condemn the hate attack on @iamsrk,” he added.
