Sara Ali Khan To Star In Usha Mehta Period Biopic

SARA ALI KHAN is set to star in a HISTORICAL film to be backed by DHARMATIC ENTERTAINMENT for AMAZON PRIME VIDEO which is said to be based on the life of USHA MEHTA, who ran an underground radio channel against the BRITISH EMPIRE called 'CONGRESS RADIO' during the 1942 QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT. KANNAN IYER, who directed EK THI DAAYAN, will come on board to direct the film and is already co-writing the film with DARAB FAROOQUI (Dedh Ishqiya). KETAN MEHTA is also planning to make a film on the freedom fighter, who also happens to be her AUNT as well.
