Social influences shape a collective narrative of the times. Contrary to popular belief, the spread of social media will have a negative impact on cinema. I believe that cinema will play an important role in the future. Social media is frequently driven by a narrow point of view. Negativity boosts social media consumption and thus its commercial value. Such pursuits encircle the collective narrative, making it destructive and divisive”. “No matter what the world does, people like us will stay positive,” he said at the end of his speech. Pathan is set to be released on January 25, 2020.
