Shonali Bose to Direct Dabba Cartel for Netflix

EXCEL ENTERTAINMENT has locked in SHONALI BOSE (The Sky Is Pink) and KARAN ANSHUMAN (Inside Edge, Rana Naidu) to direct their next two Web Series under their long term pertnership with NETFLIX

SHONALI will direct a Crime Drama titled 'DABBA CARTEL', which narrates the story of FIVE HOUSEWIVES who run a CARTEL Business and will star SHABANA AZMI as one of the leads in the series. The writing of the series is completed and the pre production is currently underway

KARAN will helm the Period Drama 'QUEEN OF THE HILL', which is set in JAZZ led 1960's BOMBAY where the series depicts the relationship of TWO WOMEN changing the fate of the Metropolis. KARAN has previously associated with EXCEL in making BANGISTAN as well as a showrunner on INSIDE EDGE and MIRZAPUR S1.
