TV stars who had issues renting a home
Urfi Javed, Zain Imam, Abhishek Kapur, and numerous other well-known television personalities opened up about the difficult struggles they faced in Mumbai when trying to find a rental apartment. While some people have finally found housing, others are still looking.

Javed Urfi

OTT Bigg Boss fame Urfi Javed posted on social media to explain that Muslim landlords are refusing to rent her a home because of the way she dresses, and Hindu landlords are troubled by the fact that she is Muslim.

Zain Imam

In his early days of acting, Zain Imam, the star of Ishq Mein Marjawan, had a difficult time finding a decent place to live in Mumbai. He admitted that many landlords had refused to rent him a home because of his occupation and religion.

Anjum Fakih

Anjum Fakih, star of Kundali Bhagya, stated that the biggest obstacle preventing her from renting an apartment in Mumbai was her occupation.

Abhishek Kapur

Actor in Kundali Bhagya Abhishek Kapur relocated to Mumbai from Delhi to pursue his acting career. He spent months looking for a home and later admitted that society and landlords were not ready to rent the actor a house.

Shireen Mirza

Shireen Mirza, an actress from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, spoke candidly about her struggle to find a rental home in Mumbai in 2018. She claimed that because she was Muslim, single, and an actor, she had a difficult time finding a home.

Poonam Preet and Sanjay Gagnani 

Kundali Bhagya actor Sanjay Gagnani had previously admitted that he and Poonam Preet, who is now his wife, had to maintain a live-in relationship. He described how it was difficult to find a home as someone in a live-in relationship with pets.
