The Legend Of Maula Jatt, starring Fawad Khan, will be released in India on December 30; however, it may only be released in the Northern belt.
On December 3, Bollywood Hungama was among the first to report that the much-loved Pakistani film The Legend Of Maula Jatt, starring Fawad Khan, would be released in India. The film is being distributed in India by Zee Studios, and it was expected to be released on December 23rd, according to reports at the time. There has, however, been a change in plans.
According to a source, "The Legend Of Maula Jatt" will be released in India on December 30, 2022. It will be the final major release to hit Indian theatres. It was released in Pakistan and around the world on October 13, 2022, and it has already surpassed the Rs. 200 crore mark at the global box office. It is the first Pakistani film to accomplish this feat. As a result, many people in India, particularly fans of the lead cast, are excited to see the film, and it is expected to do well at the box office."
"Zee Studios is primarily looking at releasing The Legend Of Maula Jatt in Delhi-NCR and Punjab," the source added. Because it is a Punjabi film, it will have the best chance in the Northern belt. A firm decision on this point will be made later."
"Perhaps Zee can release The Legend Of Maula Jatt on December 30 in the North and a week later in the rest of the country once word of mouth spreads," an industry expert speculated. Or it could be limited to certain cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Let's see how this novel release strategy works."
"On December 23, it would have faced competition from Cirkus," he added. Only the Hindi version of HIT: The Second Case will be released next week, and it will face little competition. If The Legend Of Maula Jatt is successful, it could have a long run until the release of Pathaan."
The Legend Of Maula Jatt is a remake of the cult Pakistani classic film Maula Jatt, which was released in 1979. It tells the story of a local folk hero named Maula Jatt and how he defeats his adversary, Noori Natt, the leader of a brutal clan. It also stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, and Mahira Khan in addition to Fawad Khan.
