Aambala is a Tamil comedy action film  which is produced by Vishal . the film was  directed by Sundar C.The film released in the year of 2015 and the hero of this film is Vishal and the heroine is Hansika Motwani other cast are Prabhu, Vaibhav, Santhanam, Sathish, Ramya Krishnan, Kiran Rathod, Aishwarya, Maadhavi Latha, Madhu The composer of the music was Hiphop Tamizha.

The film released on January 14, 2015, on Pongal day. Even though Vishal and Sundar C began work for only ‘Madha Gaja Raja’, they declared in the last week of May, 2014 that they would work for the second time. After a lot of screen tests Hansika Motwani was finalised for the project and she signed yet another film with Sundar C which was his third consecutive film and Yuvan Shankar Raja was finalised to compose the music for this film. He later on pulled out of the project and Sundar C revealed that five music composers are going to be part of the movie one of them being Adhi of Hiphop Tamizha. Subsequently, it was clarified that only Hiphop Tamizha’s Adhi would be handling the role of the music director for this movie unlike having five music directors. Kushboo featured in ‘Aye Aye Aye’ though she appeared only in a cameo. Three former lead actresses were said to have been cast to portray Vishal’s aunts in the said film. Speculations were rife that Simran was approached for one of the three roles, ‘only to be countered by an Intel from the unit that Ramya Krishnan, Aishwarya and Kiran Rathod had been finalised for the characters. Apart from Motwani, there were reports that the movie had two more leads as the daughters of three aunts, the role for which Telugu actresses Madhuurima and Maadhavi Latha were finalized in September 2014.
