Plot:
Vedant, a 10-year-old new student at the Nilgiri Valley School, appears to be connected to strange events there. When the class of 2007 gets together for its reunion, Adhiraj Jaisingh, an ex-student, will have to face the consequences of his behavior from fifteen years ago. But when Vedant and Adhiraj come into contact, the scenario becomes horrific. Everyone on campus is in danger of losing their lives as a dark secret begins to surface.

Adhiraj Jaisingh (Ishwak Singh), who has been searching for his high school closest friend Ninad for long years but no one seems to know of his location, sees the events unfold through his eyes. Adhiraj begins to connect the dots between what happened at school and Ninad's disappearance, and the paranormal activities begin to make sense since Ninad's ghost is killing everyone who bullied him in the past.
Up till the final episode of Adhura, Dev's murder of Ninad is strongly hinted at. Ninad's body is discovered in the jungle after Dev's passing, buried there.
While leaving several things unexplained, "Adhura"'s climax feels conclusive, piquing viewers' curiosity and leading them to speculate about what comes next. Ninad's soul finally exacts the long-awaited retribution on those who tormented him with Dev's passing. In the end, Ninad's spirit was released from Vedant, bringing his character's journey to a satisfying conclusion.
But the movie purposefully adds some uncertainty, implying that not all supernatural components have been satisfactorily explained. The probability of persistent obsessions and unsolved tensions is increased by the flashing lights on Adhiraj's plane and Supriya's possession by a spirit. This unresolved ending opens the door to potential new stories and a potential second season where the effects of what happened at the Nilgiri Valley School might be further explored.
The series' conclusion also opens for a variety of interpretations of the characters' experiences and the overall message. It calls into doubt the definition of sin, the efficacy of atonement, and the consequences of the past.
