Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office Collection Day 1!!!
New Bollywood movie Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box office on its first day of release doesn't get as much love as it was expecting. The love drama directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar took in less money than movies like Sarfira.
The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu and has premiered and became the poorest debut for Ajay Devgn in last 15 years and it also makes less money than Sarfira starring Akshay Kumar. Early eveluated from industry tracker that this love drama took in merely Rs 2 crore on its opening day in India. The movie releases against Ulajh, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah, which did even worse at the box office than Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. This is Ajay Devgn's worst opening since All The Best, that was released on 2009 and make Rs 1.82 crore at the box office.
Compared to Ajay Devgn's previous releases this year, Maidaan that made Rs 7.25 crore and Shaitaan made Rs 15.21 crore but Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha's opening day receipts are even less. Tabu and Ajay Devgn's had a successful box office runs at the begining of this year with Crew and Shaitaan, but with this film both actors' poor earnings are hard to explained.
Last month Akshay Kumar's Sarfira, surprised everyone by earning Rs 2.4 crore at the box office, and this Neeraj Pandey's film has had a worse start than Sarfira. The release date of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was about to release in June but they pushed it back since Kalki 2898 AD was doing so well at the box office at the time, but seems like it doesn't seem like that helped the movie.
On its first day of opening, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha had an total occupancy rate of 9.16%, with the majority of audience attending the night show. The occupancy rate for the picture was approximately 8.25% in Delhi NCR in 667 theaters, and 11% in Mumbai in 559 theaters. This love drama doesn't got good reviews from the audience when it first came out, and it doesn't seem that it will be able to turn things around over the weekend.
However, the Hollywood blockbuster Deadpool and Wolverine, made Rs 4.25 crore on its second Friday that is more than the combined receipts of Ulajh and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and it really was really affected the premiere of these two movies.
