The dynamic actor Ayushmann Khurrana recently praised the triumph of Hindi cinema in 2023 in a statement. After receiving praise for 'Dream Girl 2' and becoming the first film to break into the 100 crore club worldwide, Khurrana emphasized the positive change in Bollywood's story this year.

Khurrana applauded the infusion of unique content and the audience's reaction, acknowledging the industry's comeback following a period of difficulties. Pathaan, Satya Prem Ki Katha, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Gadar 2, OMG 2, Jawan, 12th Fail, Sam Bahadur, and Animal were among the films he mentioned for their enormous success.Khurrana thanked the crowd for their support and expressed his happiness at the industry's triumphs across several genres, highlighting the teamwork and commitment that go into making powerful movies.

 

He praised the comeback of Hindi cinema, which went from being the target of boycotts to becoming a vibrant industry with three record-breaking films in a single year. "We've figured out the content of the game, and 2023 could be our biggest year ever for theatres," he declared. The audience's response and support for our movie theatre have been amazing. 

 

Khurrana gave credit for this achievement to the producers, directors, and writers for their diligent work, as well as their teamwork in revitalising the theatre industry. He singled out 'Dream Girl 2' as a factor in this momentum, showing delight in the movie's achievement as the first comedy to cross the 100 crore milestone in India in the midst of the preponderance of action-packed movies.

Regarding his career, he most recently starred in Dream Girl 2, the follow-up to his hugely successful 2019 film Dream Girl. The actor plays two characters in the film, which was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Under the banner Balaji Motion Pictures, Ekta and Shobha Kapoor are the producers.
