Mumbai Mirror has published a blind item about an actor who was caught lying that he donated a gym to a remote village.

Like all the celebs who escaped being outed in the #MeToo movement, this celeb too is trying to come across as large hearted(click here to read more). While it is one thing to actually do a good deed, this actor is stooping low by making false claims. He is not the only one. We still haven’t forgotten this A-lister who didn’t think twice before troubling a cartoonist lying on his death bed to promote his film. A “human” star too is not as generous as he is known to be. While it is true that he does his share of charity, news of him donating 90% of his income is untrue. He donates only 3% of his income from his charitable foundation.

That is bollywood for you. These celebs will to any level to maintain their stardom. We wouldn’t recommend any of you to go overboard with their adoration for their stars

THE PR rep of this well-known actor called up recently to inform us that his client was so moved by the simplicity of a remote village that he was shooting in that he donated all the gym equipment he brought in from Mumbai to the villagers. Your sceptical diarist called the hotel the actor was staying at to cross-check. The hotel’s owner told us the actor had actually sold his old equipment to the hotel. Oh well…
