Blind Item(Mumbai Mirror) – Lying In The Cans – 30th April

Mumbai Mirror has published a blind item about a once super successful director whose movie is lying in the cans.
He was once one of the biggest directors in the industry. He was renowned for his hard hitting social dramas which were packed with action. Despite a few flops, he has several actors who are dying to be cast in his movies. But he has a select list of actors with whom he chooses to work with. It is indeed sad that his film is lying in the cans. Sources inform us that he is known for indulging in the casting couch in a big way. He has slept with almost all his actresses.

He is not the only successful director of the 90’s who has lost favor though. There are several prominent filmmakers, who were famed for their midas touch at the box office but whose movies are now lying in the cans.

THE long-awaited next film of this one-time super-successful filmmaker has run into a bit of bad luck. The film finished its shooting schedule several months ago, but there’s still no word on its release. Word is that the producers aren’t too happy with the way the film has shaped up and are planning to let it just sit in their studio. Which is a pity really, as the lead cast is quite easy on the eye. But mostly, the filmmaker needs to make a film ASAP.
