Blind Item(Pinkvilla) – Stay Away – 9th July

Pinkvilla has published a blind item about an A-lister who has been asked to stay away from small filmmakers by his friends.

Drama around this movie never seems to end. First there were reports of the director’s protegee being unhappy with for not being cast in his next project(click here to read more). Later there were reports of the senior superstar being insecure of playing father to the A-lister who has recently starred in a huge hit. Now this blind item is speaking about the A-lister’s friends talking him out of the movie.

The friends mentioned in this blind item are the catty, gay directors of one of the biggest production houses of Bollywood. The head honcho is known for being elitist & condescending. He looks down on people who aren’t very successful. His protege, also a director is rumored to be hooking up with the A-lister in question. This never gets reported in mainstream media for obvious reasons. The small time director mentioned in the blind item gave a 100cr hit with no big stars in his movie. If this A-lister walks out, we are sure the small time director’s protegee will gleefully walk in to the movie. Frankly we think the A-lister is a good performer himself & has nothing to worry. Let’s see how the drama unfolds.

This actor, who has recently got success in a big way is being dissuaded from being part of a project by a director who too has had a Rs 100 crore film to his credit. The actor’s friends apparently are brainwashing him into walking out of the project which is a father-son project that is going on floors, next January. The actor has been told to be more selective and stay away from smaller filmmakers. Besides he has already signed another father-son project which his friends say is good enough for him. But insiders feel that the other actor who is playing his pop in that flick is a powerhouse performer and likely to dominate him so it is better he slips out of that project.
