Bollywood Actresses Who Have Been Married More Than Once

More often than not, marriages in India are considered to be very sacred and holy by a majority of people. It is conjoined by the authority of God and no power on Earth can break this bond by hook or by crook. However, this bond is, more often than not, broken by humans themselves when they turn intolerable towards each other and the only solution they can find to end their problems is divorce and get remarried or start dating.

Here are 5 Bollywood actresses who dared to challenge the conventions of the Indian society and come out of it as bold and strong as ever.

1. Yogeeta Bali:

Yogeeta Bali was one of the most phenomenal actresses of Bollywood during 70s and 80s. She had been married to Kishore Kumar in 1976, but they got separated in 1978. Later, she married Mithun Chakraborty in 1979, whom she met in the sets of ‘Khwab’.

2. Shweta Tiwari:

Shweta Tiwari had been married to Raja Chaudhary in the year of 1998 and they had a girl called Palak. However, things went downhill for them and Shweta sought for legal separation in 2007. The reason behind this was Raja Chaudhary’s liquor abuse and savagery.

3. Archana Puran Singh:

When Archana Puran Singh had to cancel her first marriage, she had resorted to never marry again as she realized that love is no more. However, when she met Parmeet Sethi, she was proven wrong. She had met him in a get together where she was caught off guard by him.

They had a live-in relationship for a long period until they got married in 1992 and have two children Aarya mann and Ayushmaan.

4. Kirron Kher:

Kirron Kher is the epitome of resilience and strength when it comes to challenging the conventions of any society. Initially, she had been married to Gautam Berry in 1979, who was a finance manager and they had a child called Sikandar.

However, in 1985, when Anupam Kher was featured in ‘Saaransh’ Kirron Kher separated from Gautam Berry and in the same year the couple married.

5. Renuka Shahane:

Popular in the Bollywood and television industry, Renuka Shahane was first married to Vijay Kenkare, who was a Marathi theatre essayist. However, as things went downhill, they both got separated. She soon met Ashutosh Rana and got married. They have two children, Shauryaman Neekhra and Satyendra Neekhra.
